About the position
Lead requirements workshops with HR and payroll stakeholders to capture time and attendance needs.
Translate business requirements into detailed SAP Time configuration and system design documents.
Configure SAP Time Management components (schemas, rules, quota processing, work schedules, absence/ attendance types).
Define and design integration points between Time Management and Payroll, Employee Central or third-party time capture systems.
Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases and support execution of unit, integration and user acceptance testing.
Support data migration activities: mapping, build and validate time-related master and transactional data.
Produce system proposals, design specifications and handover documentation for technical teams when custom developments are required.
Provide go-live support, stabilization and troubleshooting for time-related issues post-deployment.
Coordinate with cross-functional SAP consultants (Payroll, ESS/MSS, Benefits) for integration and end-to-end scenarios.
Create user guides and deliver end-user and administrator training sessions for time processes.
Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending process optimizations and configuration enhancements.
Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications/Experience:
Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Several 4+ years of hands-on SAP Time Management / HCM functional experience in implementation and support projects.
Demonstrable track record of delivering SAP Time solutions, including configuration, testing and go-live support.
Essential Skills Requirements
Deep knowledge of SAP Time Management (Time Evaluation, Time Wage Types, Time Types, Attendance/Absence) and configuration experience.
Experience with SAP HCM / Employee Central Time integration in S/4HANA environments.
Strong skills in requirements gathering and translating business processes into SAP configuration and rules.
Ability to design and maintain time schemas, PCRs (Personnel Calculation Rules) and time quotas.
Experience preparing and executing unit, integration and UAT test cases for time processes.
Good understanding of payroll integration points and collaborating with payroll consultants to ensure correct time-to-pay flows.
Proficient in documenting "as-is" and "to-be" processes, system design specifications and user manuals.
Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, able to work with HR, payroll, and IT teams.
Problem-solving skills including root-cause analysis and providing pragmatic configuration-based solutions.
Advantageous Skills Requirements:
Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Time or integration frameworks (PAK/PI/PO or CPI).
Experience with time recording devices and time capture integrations.
Experience with data conversion and cleansing for master data (time-related infotypes).
Exposure to Agile delivery methods within SAP projects.
Basic ABAP knowledge to liaise with technical teams on custom logic or enhancements.
Familiarity with testing automation tools for regression testing of time processes.
Change management and user training experience for HR/time processes.
