About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Fioneer Consultant who combines deep technical expertise in SAP Fioneer products with strong knowledge of banking and insurance processes. This role provides the opportunity to shape innovative financial solutions, drive digital transformation, and deliver value across the enterprise.


Key Responsibilities


  • Design, configure, and optimize SAP Fioneer solutions, with a focus on Core Banking, Payments, Financial Products Subledger (FPSL), and Finance Data Suite (FDS).


  • Translate financial services requirements into effective SAP Fioneer architectures and process flows in collaboration with stakeholders.


  • Lead or contribute to solution implementations, upgrades, and integrations across SAP and non-SAP environments.


  • Develop and customize system components using Python, Java, C++, or ABAP.


  • Build modern, user-friendly interfaces using SAP UI5 and Fiori.


  • Execute data modelling, database management, and advanced SQL queries.


  • Apply AI and machine learning techniques to enhance financial products, including data inputs, scenario mapping, and model transparency.


  • Ensure delivery excellence, compliance, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.


  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization of SAP Fioneer modules.


  • Document solutions, processes, and best practices to support knowledge sharing.


Skills & Competencies


  • Proven expertise with SAP Fioneer solutions (Core Banking, Payments, FPSL, FDS).


  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++, ABAP).


  • Experience with SAP UI5, Fiori, and frontend development.


  • Strong knowledge of database technologies, data modelling, and SQL.


  • Understanding of AI and machine learning applications in financial services.


Qualifications


  • Matric and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree advantageous).


  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP Fioneer or equivalent SAP banking solutions.


  • Background in the banking and/or insurance sector preferred.


  • Relevant SAP certifications are a strong advantage.
