About the position
Deploy and manage Smart Maintenance app versions within SAP STARD and non-STARD environments.
Identify and prepare SAP transport packages (TXE for R/3, PRD for S/4HANA).
Conduct risk assessments and coordinate transport imports with plant representatives.
Troubleshoot post-import issues and implement plant-specific SAP code changes.
Perform comprehensive testing and resolve defects during implementation and rollout.
Evaluate and implement custom SAP requirements for individual plants.
Ensure code compliance and support user testing during integration.
Contribute to go-live readiness and provide hyper care support post-deployment.
Maintain user stories in JIRA and update technical documentation in Confluence.
Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications/Experience:
5–8 years of experience in SAP application deployment and support, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
Strong knowledge of SAP R/3 and S/4HANA systems, including transport management.
Experience with Plant Maintenance or similar SAP-based applications.
Essential Skills Requirements:
Expert Knowledge in system design and development covering SAP ABAP, R/3 and S4Hana.
Experience with custom reports, enhancements, user exits, BADIs, and BAPIs.
Accomplished in modular programming, reusable components, and clean code principles.
Ability to optimize ABAP code for performance.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across SAP modules.
Ability to work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders.
SAP ABAP Certification.
Strong ability to understand and interpret business needs and requirements with an aptitude to move concepts through to proposal and successful implementation.
Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter.
Advantageous Skills Requirements:
Experience with SAP Object Orientated Design paradigms and SAP ODATA.
Basic process integration knowledge across multiple SAP Modules.
Jira / Confluence.

End-to-End Implementation – development, testing, go-live, support.
