My client based in Cape Town (Woodstock) is currently looking for a Business Analyst - SAP Retail Finance (S/4HANA Programme) to join them on an independent contract basis

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong SAP Retail Finance experience to support a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programme based in Woodstock, Cape Town.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned BA who has delivered complex finance and retail solutions in enterprise environments.

Key Requirements
? Certified Business Analyst
? 8+ years' Business Analysis experience
? Strong retail industry experience
? Strong finance domain experience
? Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments
? Proven experience on transformation / system modernization projects
? Hands-on SAP experience, including:

Required

• SAP FI/CO (Financial Accounting and Controlling)

Desirable

• SAP MM (Materials Management)
• Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process knowledge

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and strategise the overall BA approach for assigned workstreams
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews and working sessions
• Elicit, analyse and document business and functional requirements (including BRDs)
• Document current state (as-is) and future state (to-be) business processes
• Perform gap analysis and identify process improvements
• Support solution design and delivery teams
• Manage and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Provide business and post-implementation support

Project & Contract Details

• Project: SAP S/4HANA implementation
• Contract duration: 12 months
• Location: Woodstock, Cape Town
• Working model: Onsite with 1 day work-from-home per week (company policy)
• Travel: Cape Town-based travel - frequency to be confirmed

Ideal Candidate
You are a confident senior-level Business Analyst with strong stakeholder engagement skills, hands-on SAP FI/CO delivery experience and a solid background in retail finance environments. You are comfortable operating in complex, multi-vendor transformation programmes.
