About the position
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong process modelling and transformation experience (not a functional SAP consultant).
This role focuses on understanding, redesigning, and optimising business processes across core retail operations, with a strong emphasis on Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) within an SAP S/4HANA environment.
You will work closely with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into clear, structured, and actionable business requirements, driving measurable process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Strategy
- Define and plan the BA approach across projects and workstreams
- Align business requirements with strategic transformation objectives
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams
Stakeholder Engagement
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions
- Engage across business units (supply chain, finance, operations, IT)
- Manage stakeholder expectations and drive consensus
Requirements & Process Modelling
- Elicit, analyse, and document requirements (BRDs, functional specs, user stories)
- Develop as-is and to-be process models
- Perform gap analysis and process improvement recommendations
- Ensure alignment to best practice and SAP-enabled processes
Testing & Delivery
- Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Validate solutions against business requirements
- Support issue resolution and ensure delivery quality
Training & Support
- Develop and support training materials and sessions
- Provide post-implementation support and BAU transition
Required Experience
- Certified Business Analyst (CBAP, FTI, or equivalent preferred)
- 7+ years’ BA experience in complex environments
- Strong retail industry experience (essential)
- Proven experience on large transformation programmes
- Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments
SAP & Domain Expertise (Critical)
Must have strong exposure to:
- SAP S/4HANA
- MM (Materials Management)
- SD (Sales & Distribution)
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Order-to-Cash (O2C)

This is NOT a functional configuration role — the focus is on process understanding, modelling, and business alignment, not system build.
