Education and Experience
- Have a relevant degree such as a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical, Information Systems, Education, Mathematics, Information Technology, Business, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering
- A SAP AIF (Application Interface Framework) consultant or developer should ideally have a combination of technical skills, SAP system knowledge, and experience in business process management. Here's a breakdown:
- SAP Expertise: Strong understanding of SAP modules and architecture is essential. Knowledge of SAP modules like SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP PI/PO (Process Integration/Process Orchestration), SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), SAP FI (Financial Accounting), and SAP PP (Production Planning) is crucial.
- IF Configuration and Development Skills: Proficiency in configuring and developing SAP AIF solutions. This includes setting up interface channels, defining message structures, configuring monitoring and error handling, and customizing the framework to meet specific business requirements.
- Integration Knowledge: Understanding of integration concepts and technologies such as IDoc, RFC (Remote Function Call), Web Services, SOAP, REST, XML, and JSON. Experience with middleware solutions like SAP PI/PO or other middleware platforms is a plus
