SAP ABAP Developer - 3147
Senior Executive (Board) - Pretoria
Job Overview:
- Design and develop SAP applications using ABAP programming language
- Customize SAP modules according to business requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Create technical specifications and documentation
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP systems
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in SAP ABAP development
- Understanding of SAP modules and integration processes
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and team collaboration abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
· Expert Knowledge in system design and development covering SAP ABAP (Legacy and S4Hana)
· ABAPGIT, FIORI, UI5, Smartforms and Launchpad Designer, BTP
· Extended skills across legacy SAP systems as well as S4HANA Implementation
· SAP RISE
· S/4 Data Model
· Data Design and API Knowledge
· SAP Module Configuration
· Development Documentation
· SAP HANA
· Confluence
· Interface & Mapping
· XML’s
· Enterprise application integration (EAI)
· Migration Activities and Planning
· Cut-over Planning
· Interface maintenance
· SAP EHP upgrade

· Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

· Ability to work as part of a team
· Ability to work interdependently as well as independently and to submit deliverables on time and with excellent quality
· Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) with both technical and non-technical colleagues / users
· Strong ability to understand and interpret business needs and requirements with an aptitude to move concepts through to proposal and successful implementation
· Strong presentation skills

· Flexibility to take up different tasks in the project
· Ability and willingness to coach and give training to fellow colleagues and users when required
· Willing and able to travel internationally
