About the position
SAP ABAP Developer
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong ABAP and ABAP OO developing skills
- Experience with data extraction and provisioning (OData/Restful APIs, RFC, BAPI, ODP)
- Experience with performance tuning, ABAP objects, analysing ABAP logs/dumps
- SAP ABAP Development & Debugging experience
- Understanding of BW Modelling Possibilities for ex. BW artefacts
- CDS Views, annotations, extensions – implementation and enhancements
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Deep dive in performance analysis on NetWeaver and Hana
- Ability to resolve & implement ABAP/BW Related Incidents & Changes (ITSM incident and changes)
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
- Very strong understanding of optimized data retrieval and code performance techniques
- CDS exposed and classic OData services – implementation and enhancements
- SAP BWonHana
- SAP BW4HANA
- SAP HANA XSA and XSC development experience
- Familiarity with SAP HANA and its integration with BW can be an advantage
- SAP Solution Manager experience
- SAP Analytics Cloud
- SAP Datasphere
- Experience across any other SAP modules
- SAP BTP
- Fair knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS)
- Kafka knowledge
- Python development experience
- Java development experience
- Experience with Atlassian toolset e.g. Confluence and Jira
- Communication and social skills, Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
- Moderation skills
- Previous experience on SAP multi project platforms
- SQL script knowledge
- Knowledge of database concepts and SQL, as well as experience with database performance tuning.
- Basic understanding of IT architecture
- PFCG, BW analytic authorizations understanding
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
- 5+ years SAP ABAP OO development experience
- 5+ Extensive experience in oData / restful API development
- 5+ years’ ABAP development experience
- 3+ years’ experience in SAP BW (BWonHANA & BW4HANA)
- 3+ years’ experience working with various user applications
- 3+ years’ experience in Conducting Unit tests and Integration tests
- 3+ years’ experience in HANA development
