Job Summary
The Salesforce Technical Consultant (Manager) role requires a strategic and technically proficient professional with advanced Salesforce expertise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CRM design, solution architecture, and Salesforce configuration, combined with leadership experience in managing delivery teams and overseeing full software development life cycles. This role involves designing technical solutions, guiding delivery teams, and ensuring optimal performance and alignment with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Delivery & Leadership
- Lead end-to-end Salesforce delivery activities including solution design, development, integration, and deployment.
- Manage and deliver large-scale Salesforce implementations with attention to quality and best practices.
- Design and optimize system architecture for scalability and performance.
- Troubleshoot, resolve issues, and ensure high availability of Salesforce environments.
Consulting & Management
- Oversee multiple client engagements and support project planning and execution.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight across development teams.
- Ensure adherence to change control and release management best practices.
- Contribute to solution proposals, technical documentation, and stakeholder communication.
Team Development & Continuous Improvement
- Mentor, train, and supervise technical team members.
- Foster continuous learning and improvement of technical capabilities across the team.
- Promote the adoption of Salesforce platform innovations and industry standards.
Qualifications & Certifications
- Relevant tertiary qualification (desirable).
- Salesforce Certified Administrator
- Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
- Salesforce Platform Developer I and II
- Additional certifications advantageous:
- Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud
- Salesforce Accredited Financial Services Cloud
- Salesforce Certified Business Analyst
- Certified Agile Practitioner
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Salesforce development or consulting.
- Proven track record in full software development life cycle and solution delivery.
- Advanced proficiency in Salesforce configuration and customization.
- Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client engagement skills.
Optional Skills
- Experience with integrated tools (e.g., MuleSoft, AdobeSign, DocuSign, CTI, Copado, marketing tools).
- Knowledge of change control and release management best practices.
- Familiarity with financial services industry processes (banking, insurance, or wealth management).
