About the position
This role is contributing to the Process Industries Division in Southern Africa. Main stakeholders are Mine Hoist end users and consultants.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for sales of Mine Hoist Products, Systems and Projects within
Process Industries market segment for Mine Hoisting Applications in accordance with the local Sales Strategy for SubSaharan Africa.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Tertiary qualification in automation or electrical or mechanical engineering
- 5-10 years of experience in Mine Hoist applications.
- Sales Skills such as disciplined & methodical preparation, ability to connect and listen and understand customer requirements, effectively consult and position value propositions and solutions, create compelling Techno-Commercial offers and winning through effective negotiation techniques.
- Hoist Control and Safety Systems experience and application knowledge.
- Hoist Mechanical and Electrical systems experience and application knowledge.
- Projects experience within the Hoisting environment.
- Exposure and functional knowledge of Electrical Systems such as Medium Voltage, Low Voltage, Motor Control and Variable Speed Drives.
