About the position
Position Overview
The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the promotion and sale of security products and solutions to both existing and prospective clients. This role focuses on developing strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding the company's market presence within the security industry.
The successful candidate will be a results-driven sales professional with a strong understanding of security products, a proven track record of achieving sales targets, and the ability to manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to deal closure.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the security solutions market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while proactively expanding the customer base.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, emerging opportunities, and industry trends.
- Manage the complete sales process, including lead generation, prospecting, qualification, proposal preparation, negotiation, and closing of deals.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Client Relationship Management
- Develop long-term relationships with customers by understanding their operational requirements and recommending suitable security solutions.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure high levels of client satisfaction throughout the sales journey.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client enquiries, product information, and solution recommendations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, opportunities, and sales activities.
Product Knowledge & Technical Support
- Conduct professional product presentations, demonstrations, and client training sessions.
- Provide technical guidance and product support where required to assist clients in selecting the most appropriate solutions.
- Stay informed on product developments, industry innovations, and emerging security technologies.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, customer requirements, and pricing strategies.
- Provide regular feedback to management regarding market developments and business opportunities.
- Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, pipeline updates, and activity reports.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure successful product delivery, customer support, and overall client satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven sales experience within the security industry.
- Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
- Strong understanding of security products, systems, and solutions.
- An existing network of clients and industry contacts will be highly advantageous.

***Salary - R35,000.00 - R40,000.00 + Medical Aid + Provident fund + Commission + Petrol Card (Business Travel) (Negotiable, based on skills, experience and in relation to current package)
