About the position
To drive new business growth, strengthen existing client relationships, and promote tailored security solutions to residential and commercial customers, while securing new business opportunities across armed response, guarding, CCTV, access control, and related security services.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
- Grade 12 / Matric essential
- Relevant sales or business qualification advantageous
- Proven external sales and / or key account management experience
- 3 to 5 years proven sales experience within security, guarding, armed response, CCTV, access control, or related industries
- Strong track record in business development and client retention
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office / CRM systems)
- PSIRA registration essential
Key Performance Areas
- Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and lead generation activities
- Identify client needs through consultations and on-site security assessments
- Present and recommend suitable security solutions aligned to client requirements
- Prepare professional quotations, proposals, and service agreements
- Manage sales pipeline and achieve agreed monthly sales targets
- Maintain and grow existing client relationships and accounts
- Cross-sell and upsell additional security products and services
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients and key decision-makers
- Collaborate closely with operational and technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and emerging opportunities within the security sector
- Ensure accurate reporting on sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline management
- Maintain high levels of customer service and professionalism at all times
- Adhere to company processes, pricing structures, and code of conduct requirements
