To drive new business growth, strengthen existing client relationships, and promote tailored security solutions to residential and commercial customers.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
- Grade 12 / Matric essential
- Relevant sales or business qualification advantageous
- Proven external sales and / or key account management experience
- 3 to 5 years proven sales experience within security, guarding, armed response, CCTV, access control, or related industries
- Strong track record in business development and client retention
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office / CRM systems)
- PSIRA registration preferred
Key Performance Areas
- Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and referrals
- Identify client needs and conduct on-site consultations
- Present suitable security solutions aligned to client requirements
- Prepare professional proposals, quotations, and service agreements
- Manage sales pipeline and achieve agreed monthly targets
- Maintain and grow existing client accounts
- Cross-sell and upsell additional products and services
- Build strong long-term client relationships
- Monitor competitor activity and market opportunities
- Submit accurate weekly sales activity reports and forecasts
- Represent the business professionally in the market
