Job Title: Sales Representative - Plumbing Supplies

Location: Kempton Park, Johannesburg, East Rand

Salary: Negotiable basic salary around R25,000 per month + On-Target Earnings (OTE) of R40,000 - R50,000 per month (including travel allowance)

Start Date: Immediate

About the Role:

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales of our client's stainless steel piping products to plumbing companies and related businesses. Your primary focus will be building relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their needs, and presenting the value proposition of our client's products. You will also be responsible for generating referrals and specifications from engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

Proactively identify and target potential clients (plumbing companies, installers, etc.) within the designated territory.
Conduct face-to-face sales calls and presentations.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
Generate referrals and specifications from engineers.
Achieve and exceed sales targets.
Manage a sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts.
Stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor activities.
Provide regular reports on sales activities and market feedback.

Requirements:

Proven track record in sales, preferably within the plumbing supplies industry.
Strong understanding of the plumbing market and related products (e.g., sanitary piping, water supply systems).

Existing network of contacts within the plumbing industry is a significant advantage.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Based in or around the East Rand/Kempton Park area.
