Sales Representative / Packaging Specialist

About the position

Well-established company based on the East Rand seeks a Sales Representative to join their team!
Requirements

• 3–10 years’ experience in industrial B2B sales
• Experience in industries such as packaging, plastics, industrial consumables, warehousing equipment, logistics packaging, palletising systems, or protective packaging preferred

Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate new business within industrial, manufacturing, and logistics environments
• Identify potential clients and approach decision makers through cold prospecting
• Secure and conduct on-site packaging trials to demonstrate product performance
• Analyse and present cost-per-pallet savings and operational efficiencies to customers
• Convert trials into long-term supply agreements
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Grow revenue within existing accounts through ongoing account management
• Train customer staff on optimal pallet wrapping techniques and product usage
• Manage customer supply relationships and ensure service delivery
• Conduct regular site visits to factories, warehouses, and distribution centres
• Travel within the assigned territory and occasionally nationally for larger opportunities
