About the position
Well-established company based on the East Rand seeks a Sales Representative / Packaging Specialist to join their team!
Requirements
- 3–10 years’ experience in industrial B2B sales
- Experience in industries such as consumables, warehousing equipment, logistics packaging, palletising systems, or protective packaging preferred
Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate new business within industrial, manufacturing, and logistics environments
- Identify potential clients and approach decision makers through cold prospecting
- Secure and conduct on-site packaging trials to demonstrate product performance
- Analyse and present cost-per-pallet savings and operational efficiencies to customers
- Convert trials into long-term supply agreements
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Grow revenue within existing accounts through ongoing account management
- Train customer staff on optimal pallet wrapping techniques and product usage
- Manage customer supply relationships and ensure service delivery
- Conduct regular site visits to factories, warehouses, and distribution centres
- Travel within the assigned territory and occasionally nationally for larger opportunities
