Sales Representative - Packaging

About the position

Well established company in Cape-Town North seeks an External  Sale Representative form Packaging industry
Minimum Requirements 
Valid drivers license with own vehicle 
Minimum 2 years experience in External Sales within the packaging industry 

Duties will include: 

• Achieving monthly and yearly adjusted budgets against individual budgets and company performance
• Managing existing and potential customers effectively to meet required sales budgets
• To have a daily action plan, call cycle to canvass and sell range of products to customers
• Generate quotations and proposals for prospective / existing clients
• Timeous follow ups with customers on quotes sent out
• Process sales orders accurately on sage system
• Keep customer base updated on CRM system
• Generate new and targeted business effectively and to meet budgeted requirements
• To increase sales techniques and product knowledge ie. Books, magazines & videos
• Ad hoc duties: Answering the switchboard, stock takes and cheque collections
