Our client is seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to take on a dual role focusing on both bricks/paving products and bulk cleaning chemicals (serving industrial and household markets).
This role requires a confident communicator with a proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and drive sales across diverse product lines.

Minimum requirement
- Matric.
- Proven Sales Experience is required - Construction would be ideal.
- Friendly disposition and ability to work in a team.
- Self-starter, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities
- Identify new customers through cold calling and follow up on all sales leads using various platforms.
- Assist in identifying, evaluating, and developing new sales channels.
- Expand customer base to include resellers.
- Maintain frequent contact and build relationships with existing and new customers, as well as architects, developers, contractors, and consultants, to continue promoting products.
- Monitor orders to ensure they are delivered in a timely manner.
- Make effective use of Zoho customer relations management and keep info updated.
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, including sales orders, quotations, and delivery orders, and submit info in a timely manner.
- When the job is complete, obtain the required pictures.
- Collaborate with the Office Manager to efficiently resolve issues and promptly address customer needs.
- Participate in the development of marketing materials, including website, trade show materials, printed advertisements, article publication, and publicity events.
- Support customers with technical product knowledge, product recommendations, product availability, samples, and presentations.
- Actively participate in the development of the corporate strategic plan.
- Where needed, coach installation crews to maximise productivity while ensuring quality work.
- Collaborate with the Credit Department to gather information for new accounts and assist in collecting past-due accounts.
- Actively participate in sales meetings and any training sessions.
- Visit existing and prospective customers to build relationships and obtain orders.
