Sales Representative

About the position

Seeking a passionate, results-driven salesperson to join our Durban team. The individual in this role would provide appropriate product solutions for our customers and nurture them through our sales process from start to finish. Candidates for this position should prioritize customer care, client acquisition, and company profitability.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Generate and qualify leads via phone and email
• Schedule sales appointments and activities
• Promote products/services to new and existing customers
• Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of new and existing customers
• Close sales by means of excellent customer service and salesmanship
• Develop strategies for more effective sales closing, share with team
• Maintain positive business and customer relationships to prolong customer lifetime value
• Prioritize and/or escalate client questions and concerns to increase client satisfaction
• Conduct; organise and lead dry ice blasting projects.
• Track personal appointments, status reports, and sales
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous
• Divers license essential and own vehicle ideal.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Aptitude for negotiation and persuasion
• Highly motivated, determined, and target driven
• Previous sales experience in manufacturing, production or technical environments is advantageous.
• Divers license essential and own vehicle ideal.
• Time management and personal organization
• Physically fit and willing to work overtime / weekends when required. (The ability to do dry ice blasting under pressure and in challenging environments is essential)
• Familiarity with BRM and CRM best practices
