Minimum requirements:
- Matric or equivalent.
- 2 to 5 years of working experience and knowledge of scaffolding and relevant formwork.
- Hold a valid Code 08 driver’s license with own reliable transport.
- Computer literate in MS Office, Pastel, Fusion, and any other required programs.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Ensure company details are promoted physically, electronically, and through any other affordable and effective media platforms.
- Demonstrate the ability to find and secure clients or build reference resources to channel future business opportunities.
- Maintain a constant focus on delivering excellent service and products to impress and retain existing customers.
- Collect and deliver effective market-related feedback to management to ensure high standards, and report any problems, price discrepancies, lead time differences, or client dissatisfaction.
- Build exceptional relationships with existing recurring customers to ensure a consistent foundation of monthly bulk orders.
- Supply clients with product advice telephonically or in person when they visit.
- Follow up on leads received and ensure that the standard of service delivery remains consistently high.
- Request component samples or display products from the factory and showcase them to potential clients to generate more sales.
- Capture, manage, and update client information and data for new and existing clients on Pastel/Fusion.
- Send and receive all correspondence to and from clients.
- Complete accurate quotations and send them to clients in a timely manner.
- Follow up and correspond with clients regarding quotation requests.
- Request and formulate transport quotations.
- Initiate sales campaigns to source and target specific clients within focus groups, such as painters, mines, advertising companies, and schools.
- Initiate promotional offerings to generate additional sales.
- Regularly ask for referrals from existing clients and suppliers to generate new business.
- Diarise potential future business based on information provided by clients regarding upcoming projects.
- Forecast sales and develop innovative sales strategies.
- Analyse reports to ensure continuous improvement.
- Respond to general queries and attend training activities.
