About the position
We are seeking a seasoned Sales Representative with a strong background in the glass and aluminum sector. The ideal candidate will bring an existing client base, robust industry connections, and a proven track record of sales success. This role is pivotal for driving new business development and nurturing existing relationships within our dynamic industry. The position is based near Montagu Gardens.
Key Requirements:
- Educational Background: Matric Certificate (Grade 12) required
- Industry Experience: Must have direct experience in the glass and aluminum industry
- Client Base: An established client base and strong industry connections are essential
- Sales Track Record: Demonstrable success in sales with required documentation
- Transportation: Own vehicle and a valid driver’s license are mandatory for travel purposes
- Product Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of glass and aluminum products
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts
- Offer expert product guidance and support to clients
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets
- Engage in client meetings and conduct site visits as needed
- Develop detailed quotations and proposals for potential clients
- Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and monitor competitor activities
- Maintain meticulous records and sales reports
