Sales Representative

About the position

A vacancy exists within the food industry situated in Amanzimtoti, Durban (with shops across KZN), for a suitably qualified and experienced Sales Representative.

Purpose of Role:
The incumbent will be expected to:

• Perform sales activities to establish and grow new markets identified by the company.
• Introduce new product brands into the markets.
• Deal with customer sales and complaints.
• Identify and recruit new accounts.
• Identify new market and product opportunities.
• Maintain excellent customer relationships.

Minimum Criteria:
The successful incumbent must:

• Be in possession of a Grade 12 / Matric certificate;
• Minimum 5 years corporate account sales experience within the food industry;
• Ability to achieve key performance indicators (KPI's);
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office;
• Be in possession of Code 08 driver's license.

Preferential Criteria:
The following criteria would be advantageous:

• Post Matric business or sales qualifications
• Strong organisational skills with a problem-solving attitude;
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
