Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven track record in sales, with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets - ideally a minimum 2-4 years of successful sales history (verified)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Persuasive negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales goals.
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
- Knowledge of the industry and market trends - More so knowledge of the industries where forklifts will be sold into (Shipping, Manufacturing, Packaging, FMCG, Logisitcs and Fruit farming ect.
- Qualification in marketing will be an advantage
- Overall, being a successful Sales Representative requires a combination of strategic thinking, pragmatic approach, effective communication, and a passion for building relationships and driving revenue growth
