About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced External Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing, with a comprehensive understanding of both the mining and construction industries, and a commitment to occupational safety and health (OSH) standards. This position requires a proactive approach to sales, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently while achieving sales targets.

  • Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in external sales, preferably within the mining sector.
  • Comprehensive grasp of Work at Heights and confined space standards, with a commitment to promoting safety in the workplace.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business.
  • Technical aptitude and the ability to understand and communicate complex concepts to clients.
  • Self-motivated and driven to learn and adapt in a dynamic industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
  • Experience in the construction or mining industries is ideal.
  • Ability to work at heights is essential; experience in training is advantageous.

- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase our solutions and address client needs.
- Facilitate training sessions for clients on product usage, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions tailored to the unique requirements of each client.
- Continuously expand your technical knowledge and stay informed about industry developments and emerging technologies.
- Work independently to identify and pursue new business opportunities, with a focus on achieving sales targets and revenue growth.
