About the Role:
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing retail clients.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the retail sector.
- Presenting and promoting our client's extensive product range to retailers.
- Implementing and monitoring effective in-store merchandising strategies.
- Managing promotional activities and ensuring retailer understanding and participation.
- Handling any retailer queries, including those related to returns and refunds, in a professional and efficient manner.
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets within your designated territory.
- Providing valuable market feedback to the management team.
What We Are Looking For:
- A proactive and results-oriented individual with a strong sales drive.
- 25 - 45 years of age.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience, ideally within the hardware sector or a related industry.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in distribution or wholesaling, particularly of hardware products.
- Candidates with experience working for a wholesaler distributing to retailers, possessing a solid understanding of display merchandising, refunds, promotions, and the wholesale-to-retail channel, are also encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- A valid driver's license and your own reliable vehicle are essential (car allowance will be provided).
What's On Offer:
- A Basic Salary of R20,000 with travel allowance and on-target earnings with commission up to R40,000.
- A car allowance to cover business travel.
