DBN000231 - SALES REPRESENTATIVE – (ENGINEERING/DISTRIBUTION) - CPT
ROLE PURPOSE:
To act as a technical advisor and salesperson, identifying client needs to recommend, demonstrate, and sell complex engineering products.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Tertiary Qualification (Preferably in Engineering) – Highly Advantageous
- Minimum of 5 years on the road selling experience
- Engineering Services experience
- Stable work history
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Technical Sales & Presentations: Explain complex technical concepts simply, provide demonstrations, and present solutions to client.
- Customer Relationship Management: Identify new business opportunities, build long-term relationships, and maintain contact with existing clients.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of company products, applications, and industry trends to act as a subject matter expert.
- Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts to secure, close, and renew sales orders.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Assist customers with product questions, installation, or technical issues.
- Reporting: Track sales, monitor customer feedback, and report market developments to management.
