Sales Representative - Agriculture

About the position

Well-established company based in Johannesburg seeks an External Sales Representative from agriculture to join their team!
Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
• Grade 12
• Afrikaans / English
• Must have some agricultural background
• Willing to travel around South Africa

Responsibilities:

• Promote and sell company products in the assigned region.
• Identify customer needs and work with technical teams to provide solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Gather and submit market and industry intelligence.
• Respond promptly to customer requests and monitor satisfaction.
• Identify new business opportunities and support growth.
• Assist with accurate site descriptions, measurements, and technical details.
• Liaise with the warehouse on stock, orders, and parts management.
• Coordinate with installation teams and update customers on progress.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Review quotations, ensure pricing accuracy, and monitor profitability.
• Support debtor follow-ups and ensure accurate customer accounts.
• Maintain up-to-date records, documents, and customer databases.
• Prepare and submit required reports.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.
• Protect company intellectual property and handle company assets responsibly.
• Perform additional reasonable duties as required.
