About the position
Job Purpose:
- The purpose of the role is to analyse sales data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to support the sales team
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric/ Grade12
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years’ experience in finance, accounting, or sales analytic roles.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems, such as ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite Oracle Dynamic 365), Microsoft Excel, and database management tools
Main Responsibilities:
- Analyse sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain sales reports, dashboards, and forecasts
- Maintain product and pricing information on customer portals and internally
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and support strategic initiatives
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform sales strategies and positioning
- Provide recommendations for pricing optimization, product mix, and territory allocation
- Monitor sales performance against targets and provide regular performance updates to stakeholders
- Assist in the development of sales strategies, including target
