About the position
Sales Reporting Analyst required for a reputable company based in East London , Eastern Cape
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or sales analytic roles.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems, such as ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite Oracle Dynamic 365), Microsoft Excel, and database management tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of statistical techniques and forecasting methods is desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills
Responsibilities:
- Analyse sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain sales reports, dashboards, and forecasts.
- Maintain product and pricing information on customer portals and internally.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and support strategic initiatives.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform sales strategies and positioning.
- Provide recommendations for pricing optimization, product mix, and territory allocation.
- Monitor sales performance against targets and provide regular performance updates to stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of sales strategies, including target setting and incentive programs.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and special projects as required
