About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive Sales Report Analyst to support the Regional Sales Manager and enhance the efficiency of regional sales operations. The ideal candidate is analytical by nature, excels in administrative coordination, and demonstrates strong accountability in managing reporting processes, task flow, and operational follow-ups. This role requires someone who thrives in a structured environment, communicates effectively, and consistently delivers accurate, high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting & Analysis
- Develop, update, and maintain a comprehensive suite of reports to support the Regional Sales Manager in daily, weekly, and monthly operational decision-making.
- Analyse data to identify exceptions, inconsistencies, or anomalies, and escalate key findings proactively.
- Investigate discrepancies by determining root causes, providing insight-driven recommendations, and supporting corrective action initiatives as guided by the Regional Sales Manager.
- Handle sensitive deduction reporting relating to car fines, private kilometres, loans, and other assigned categories.
- Upon receiving managerial approval, assign issues or tasks to the appropriate team members with clear context, recommendations, and deadlines.
- Monitor the progress of delegated tasks, ensuring follow-ups, reminders, and timely completion are consistently managed.
- Consolidate data insights into clear narrative summaries where necessary to support management reporting.
Administrative Support
- Attend sales meetings and produce accurate, comprehensive minutes that clearly outline discussions, decisions, and action items.
- Distribute minutes promptly to relevant stakeholders and ensure that action items are effectively tracked to completion.
- Provide full administrative support to the Regional Sales Manager, including preparation of documents, scheduling assistance, and handling confidential information with absolute discretion.
- Manage general office administrative duties such as filing, document formatting, organisational tasks, and maintenance of records.
- Assist in project coordination by tracking timelines, deliverables, and progress indicators.
- Analyse telematic reports, flag exceptions, and deliver meaningful feedback to support operational compliance and performance monitoring.
Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical ability, capable of interpreting data, identifying trends, and recognising anomalies within numerical and operational reports.
- Proven ability to take comprehensive meeting minutes and translate them into actionable, professional documentation.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage confidently with team members across various levels.
- High degree of professionalism, reliability, and accountability in handling sensitive information and task execution.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and deliver outputs within strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); advanced Excel skills are advantageous.
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma required; a certificate or qualification in business administration, analytics, or a related field is advantageous.
- Proven experience in report analysis, coordination, administrative assistance, or a similar operational support role.
- Experience working within a sales, retail, or FMCG environment is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Exposure to CRM systems, reporting tools, or telematics platforms is an advantage.
***Salary - R15,000.00 (Negotiable, based on skills, experience and in relation to current package)
