About the position
- Visiting existing customers, and cold calling to expand the customer base.
- Wins, maintains, and expands relationships with assigned and new channel partners in the Printer Distribution Company Portfolio.
- Proactively meets, assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis and provide them with solutions that best meet their requirements.
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
- New business development: 80% new business development, 20% existing business
- Conduct research and identify potential customers through various means, such as cold calling, prospecting, networking, and existing customer base.
- Account management visits to our customers to identify opportunities for growth within our platform based on budget and KPI objectives.
- Represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers though may focus on a specific solution or product set if focused on a particular vertical market.
- Responsible for achieving sales, profitability, as set out in our annual budgeted targets and Vendor objectives as per agreed budgets with them.
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned customer accounts.
- Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
- The position may also include marketing, forecasting, and profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and arrange demonstrations to potential clients to showcase products and services.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, technologies, and products to maintain a competitive edge and increase sales.
- Manage all reporting of customers' accounts with opportunities based around targeted areas based on Budget and KPI
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
- Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet company performance objectives and customers' expectations.
