About the role
They are looking for a strong Sales Executive to join their team. In this role, your main goal is to secure clients and grow their sales in the industrial automation and manufacturing sectors. You will help their regional sales team reach its monthly and yearly goals.
What You Will Do
- Plan and manage personal business portfolio that contributes to the company’s brand image and vision
- Identify and utilise opportunities for cross-selling, including communicating latest product development.
- Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
- Attend training and develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
- Write accurate weekly sales reports and future sales forecasts on their computer system.
- Send quotations using correct pricing in accordance with Company policy.
- Conduct sales activities using available tools and resources such as provide marketing material, client database, exhibitions and industry-related events.
What You Need to Apply (Must-Haves)
- You must have a Matric Certificate.
- You must have a valid driver’s license and your own reliable car.
- 2- 5 years of experience working in technical B2B sales.
- Electrical engineering or relevant trade qualification.
- A recognised Electrical/Instrumentation Trade Test Certificate is beneficial.
- Working knowledge of how cables and connectors integrate with PLCs, Variable Speed Drivers (VSDs), Field I/O systems, and sensors is advantageous.
- Excellent negotiation skills to close big business deals.
