About the position

Our client is recruiting for a Sales Planner to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for several processes and will work closely with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

  • Taking ownership of and preparing management and Head Office reports, monitoring daily and monthly deviations and providing support with compliance reporting
  • Being responsible for the biannual budget process and revised budget cycles, including preparing the budget pack file and data analysis
  • Ensuring Sales Forecast accuracy towards
  • Ensuring the accuracy of budgets/ forecasting is monitored and reported back to senior management
  • Preparing variance analysis reports to support senior and sales teams in identifying trends and risk management
  • Coordinating pricing and catalogue updates, preparing annual pricing and discount structures, and collaborating with Product Management in driving results of campaign strategies
  • Acting as a key user of SAP, PowerBI, and CRM systems
  • Ensuring proper maintenance and accuracy of data within all reporting systems
  • Gathering and creating reports on market and competitor data
  • Ad hoc reporting, analysis and project work as required

Requirements:

  • Degree in Economics, Management Accounting, Business
  • 5 -10 years of experience, out of which a minimum 3 years have been in analytical positions
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a complex, fast-paced and deadline driven environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills - particularly Advanced Excel skills (being able to create and maintain reports using complex formulas) and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of SAP - especially Business Warehouse, or similar
  • HVAC market and product knowledge desirable
  • Proficient knowledge of English
