Sales Manager Mining Marketing

About the position

The successful candidate will be required to achieve divisional sales targets, expenditure and profitability within agreed operational constraints by utilising sales personnel effectively.

Key duties & responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Development and delivery of divisional budget and accountable for meeting targets.
• Accountable for growing the Mining business.
• Provide leadership to a team of professionals.
• Development of new market and customers.
• Development and implementation of new systems and processes to improve efficiency.
• Perform product presentations to customers.
• Lead the team in tender management and preparation.
• Maintain relationships with key clients.
• Act as a lead negotiator during contract negotiations.
• Interpret, manage and optimise the full divisional P&L

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical/Electronic engineering from an accredited tertiary institution. Management qualification will be advantageous.
• Managing of staff - previous management experience at a similar role is a
• Experience in tender preparation and management.
• Willingness to travel and work long hours
• Good analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to perform well under pressure.
• Good computer skills (MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint, MS Projects and JDE or other ERP
