About the position

Background:

• Our Client is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to grow and manage business within the mining and industrial sector

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12) essential
• 5-8 years proven management experience working with mining companies
• Sales qualification advantageous
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Self-motivated and target-driven

Responsibilities:

• Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies, set achievable targets (quotas), and create sales plans
• Monitor team performance using KPIs and CRM data, provide coaching, and ensure forecast accuracy
• Oversee daily sales activities, manage territories, and ensure efficient product/service delivery
• Build strong client relationships, participate in negotiations, and analyze market trends
• Prepare and present sales forecasts, results, and performance reports to senior management
