About the position
We are a well-established company based on the East Rand, operating in the packaging and/or food manufacturing sector.
ey Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth
- Manage and grow existing key accounts within the packaging/food manufacturing sector
- Identify and secure new business opportunities and markets
- Lead, mentor, and support the sales team to achieve targets
- Build strong relationships with clients, distributors, and stakeholders
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and operations teams to ensure client satisfaction
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with customers
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or Senior Sales Executive
- Experience in packaging, FMCG, or food manufacturing industry (essential or highly advantageous)
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities
- Ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems
