Job Title: Sales Executive - Logistics Industry
Location: Midrand
Reporting to: Sales Manager
Start Date: ASAP
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Sales Executive with at least 10 years of experience in the Logistics industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, advanced skills in Excel reporting, and a strong ability to drive revenue through strategic client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the logistics and supply chain environment
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Prepare detailed and accurate sales reports using advanced Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, dashboards)
- Consistently meet and exceed sales targets
- Deliver tailored presentations and proposals to potential clients
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure operational excellence and client satisfaction
- Track sales performance and update CRM systems regularly
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of sales experience in the Logistics, Freight, or Supply Chain industry
- Demonstrated success in consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Strong advanced Excel skills (reporting, analysis, dashboards)
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication abilities
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Sales, Logistics, or Business (preferred)
- Own reliable transport and a valid driver's license
