About the position
Our client within the gate and automation industry is seeking a skilled and professional sales manager. One should have proven hunter sales skills, with exposure to the technical, electrical, or mechanical industries. A Matric certificate is required, as well as a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
Candidates with proven technical sales exposure from selling, negotiating to promotional activities are encouraged to apply. Overtime may be required for the role too, and one should be able to lead and/or train a team.
Responsibilities Include:
- Visting of distributors and installers on a regular basis.
- Ensuring that reseller outlets are represented and displayed up to date.
- Bring in new clientele through their network.
- Assist with internal sales and training.
- Assist the technical department.
- Plan sales strategies.
