About the position

We are comprehensively experienced and equipped with construction facilities to undertake both small and large installation contracts throughout Africa.

We provide quality electrical products and services to the industrial sector. Specialise in the manufacture of a comprehensive range of standard and purpose built MCC's and Control Panels, and provide simple, cost-effective and up-to-date solutions in process automation, ranging from small PLC/HMI stand-alone package units to large factory wide SCADA systems.

We have a vacancy for a Sales Manager. This is a Senior executive appointment responsible for sales and business development.

This position colaborates with sales staff and branch managers.

Responsibilities :
Promoting the company and our business;
Identifying opportunities for business growth and actively pursuing new projects.
Maintaining relationships with our customers;
Following up on leads and tendering for opportunities;
Submitting quality quotes and following these up to conclusion

Duties: Include but not limited to:

  • Manage, update and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 QMS sales processes and related documents.
  • Meet or exceed order income and financial targets against budgets (conversion rates).
  • Sign quotes and orders in accordance with signature mandates.
  • Manage, capture, optimize, backup and archive all sales related documents and correspondence on the Shared network.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI's):

  • Achieve and maintain a 15% gross profit target as determined in the business meetings
  • Submit a 6-month sales and invoicing forecast by the 20 th of each month
  • Achieve a quote conversion rate of 20%

Qualifications and experience:

The minimum qualification would be a national diploma in electrical/ electronic engineering.
Preference is for an experienced sales person from the Electronic or Electrical Engineering industry who has a proven success history of over achieving sales targets.
Experience in estimation/tendering is esssential.

We offer a negotiable salary plus an incentive based on over achievement of sales targets.
