Sales Manager - Advertising

An established Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising company is seeking a Mid-Level Sales Manager to join its commercial team and drive revenue growth across its national media portfolio. This is a key opportunity for a self-motivated and results-driven individual with experience in the advertising and media sales industry, particularly in OOH and mobile media formats.

Role Overview:

You will be responsible for identifying and onboarding new clients, managing existing relationships, and ensuring consistent sales across a range of physical advertising platforms, including billboards and branded mobile trucks. The ideal candidate is confident in sourcing leads, pitching to clients, and closing deals independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive sales of available media assets across multiple cities and formats.
• Actively source and close new business opportunities.
• Manage and grow relationships with existing clients.
• Support cross-selling and upselling initiatives across campaigns.
• Track sales activities and performance, and report to senior leadership.
• Deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of proven sales experience in media, advertising, or related fields.
• Solid understanding of the South African OOH industry.
• Confident negotiator with a persuasive, consultative sales approach.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage key accounts and meet revenue goals.
• Relevant qualification in Business, Marketing, Communications, or similar.
