About the position

Job Title: Sales Executive (Industrial Workwear & PPE)

Company: TRP (on behalf of our client)

Location: Centurion, Gauteng

Salary: Basic R25,000 (starting) + Car Allowance + Commission (OTE R50k - R80k p/m)

TRP has been retained by one of South Africa's most established industrial suppliers. With a 61-year legacy of quality and reliability, our client offers a comprehensive range of products to the nation's largest industries. We are now searching for a high-energy Sales Executive for their Workwear & PPE division.

The Role:

We are seeking a sales-driven candidate to manage and expand our client's portfolio in the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and industrial workwear space. This is a high-volume, relationship-driven role, focusing on supplying bulk and specialised safety gear to a wide range of corporate and industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively hunt for new business opportunities across industrial, mining, logistics, and corporate sectors.
  • Manage key accounts, focusing on Industrial Owners/Directors, Facility & Maintenance Managers, and Corporate Procurement teams.
  • Sell a diverse range of products, from standard conti-suits and safety boots to specialised protective gear.
  • Understand client requirements for safety, branding, and compliance.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals for bulk supply contracts.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
Requirements:

  • A proven "hunter" mentality with a strong B2B sales track record.
  • Essential Experience: Demonstrable success in selling to industrial clients, maintenance managers, or corporate procurement.
  • Experience in selling workwear, PPE, or other industrial consumables is a major asset.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Valid driver's license and a structured approach to managing a sales territory.
  • Advantageous: A qualification or deep knowledge of industrial safety standards or logistics.
