Salary: Basic R25,000 (starting) + Car Allowance + Commission (OTE R50k - R80k p/m)

About Our Client:

TRP is recruiting for a highly respected industry leader with a 61-year history in providing essential solutions to the South African industrial and municipal markets. Our client is a key supplier of advanced water treatment and fluid control systems. They are seeking a technical sales specialist to drive growth in this critical division.

The Role:

This is a specialist sales role focusing on our client's range of water treatment and wastewater management solutions. You will be responsible for selling technical systems, equipment, and consumables to a highly specialized audience of engineers and project managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive sales of water treatment plants, filtration systems, pumps, and related consumables.
• Develop strong technical relationships with Consulting Engineers, Project Managers, and key personnel in Governmental (municipal) and Corporate (industrial) sectors.
• Analyze client needs for new projects (e.g., property developments, industrial plants) and retrofits.
• Work with internal engineers to configure solutions and prepare detailed technical tenders and quotations.
• Manage key accounts and identify opportunities for service contracts or consumable sales.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets.

Requirements:

• Proven sales track record in a technical or engineering-focused environment.
• Essential Experience: A strong network and experience selling to engineers, project managers, and municipalities.
• A clear understanding of fluid control, pumps, or water treatment processes.
• Ability to manage complex sales and sell "solutions" rather than just products.
• Valid driver's license.
• Advantageous: A formal qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil) or Water Treatment.
