About the position

Sales Executive 

We are seeking an experienced Sales Consultant with 3–5 years of proven sales experience to achieve sales targets in an assigned territory. The ideal candidate will proactively sell office stationery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Source new business and expand your personal client database in the relevant area.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers by understanding and meeting their needs.
  • Service existing customers through effective planning, route sheets, and regular follow-ups.
  • Problem-solve creatively to resolve customer challenges and provide tailored solutions.
  • Submit activity and results reports to management, including weekly work plans and monthly territory analyses.
  • Maintain accurate records of area and customer sales.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Conduct product training sessions for customers to keep solutions relevant.
  • Compile professional quotations and proposals.
  • Strategically plan country trips if/when required.
  • Own a reliable vehicle and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience (candidates without experience will not be considered).
  • Matric certificate is essential.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Good operational computing skills (Microsoft Office, Windows, Internet browsers).
  • Ability to work independently and with a team to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Energetic, confident, presentable, and a self-starter.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality output.
  • Customer-focused approach with strong negotiation and closing skills at all levels.
  • Experience in territory management and meeting sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned area as required.

Remuneration:

  • Basic salary plus commission
  • Cell phone allowance
  • Capped petrol card
