About the position
A well-established company based in Sandton is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive with experience in the travel, wholesale, car rental or hotel industry.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead generation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Identify customer needs and present tailored advertising and marketing solutions.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations and sales presentations.
- Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
- Promote the company's products and services to increase brand awareness.
- Maintain accurate customer records, contracts and sales activity on the CRM system.
- Follow up on quotations, contracts and outstanding payments.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure long-term client satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric.
- Proven track record in hunter-style external sales and new business development.
- Experience within the travel industry is advantageous, particularly dealing with wholesalers, airlines, tour operators, hotels, car rental companies or related industries.
- Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to engage confidently with decision-makers and senior executives.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle.
- Must be based in Johannesburg.
