About the position

Sales Executive - JHB

The Sales Executive will be responsible for achieving sales within an assigned territory, with a focus on driving growth across both new and existing customers.

The role requires a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, as well as proactive engagement in selling the company’s products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new sales opportunities to grow the business.
  • Negotiate contracts with both new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with key internal departments to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Engage directly with customers to identify needs and create tailored solutions.
  • Identify and build relationships with key decision-makers across various organisations.
  • Maintain accurate customer information and transaction records.
  • Deliver a high level of customer interaction with prompt and professional responses.
  • Research and identify new market opportunities by analysing customer behaviour, competitors, and market trends.
  • Ensure follow-through on all commitments to guarantee 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations using approved company materials.
  • Consistently meet and/or exceed individual and business sales goals.
  • Execute structured and efficient outreach activities (calls, emails, follow-ups) to generate leads and close sales.
  • Partner with regional sales teams to create and convert leads across the full product range.
  • Develop and maintain advanced product and market knowledge to position the company competitively.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand technical needs and provide relevant solutions.
  • Simplify and translate technical information into clear, non-technical terms for customers.
  • Support product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions to highlight company offerings.
  • Analyse scanned data and provide accurate reports or insights as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
  • 3–5 years’ outbound business development and/or sales experience.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in the technology industry is advantageous.

Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong operational knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Internet browsers.
  • Basic database management and Excel skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new technical skills and software tools.
