Sales Executive - JHB
The Sales Executive will be responsible for achieving sales within an assigned territory, with a focus on driving growth across both new and existing customers.
The role requires a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, as well as proactive engagement in selling the company’s products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new sales opportunities to grow the business.
- Negotiate contracts with both new and existing clients.
- Collaborate with key internal departments to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
- Engage directly with customers to identify needs and create tailored solutions.
- Identify and build relationships with key decision-makers across various organisations.
- Maintain accurate customer information and transaction records.
- Deliver a high level of customer interaction with prompt and professional responses.
- Research and identify new market opportunities by analysing customer behaviour, competitors, and market trends.
- Ensure follow-through on all commitments to guarantee 100% customer satisfaction.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations using approved company materials.
- Consistently meet and/or exceed individual and business sales goals.
- Execute structured and efficient outreach activities (calls, emails, follow-ups) to generate leads and close sales.
- Partner with regional sales teams to create and convert leads across the full product range.
- Develop and maintain advanced product and market knowledge to position the company competitively.
- Collaborate with clients to understand technical needs and provide relevant solutions.
- Simplify and translate technical information into clear, non-technical terms for customers.
- Support product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions to highlight company offerings.
- Analyse scanned data and provide accurate reports or insights as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- 3–5 years’ outbound business development and/or sales experience.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in the technology industry is advantageous.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong operational knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Internet browsers.
- Basic database management and Excel skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new technical skills and software tools.
