The Role:
As a Heavy Duty Commercial Parts Sales Executive at our Elandsfontein branch, you will be instrumental in driving business growth by identifying and developing new customer relationships within the medium to heavy duty parts market. Your focus will include promoting and selling parts for Japanese, Volvo, and Scania vehicles. You will act as a key point of contact to our valued customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeding their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify potential business opportunities within the heavy-duty commercial parts sector.
  • Actively pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Provide expert product information and support to customers, addressing inquiries and resolving any complaints effectively.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations on product and service offerings.
  • Accurately calculate costs and provide customers with competitive quotations.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets as set by the company.
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly activity reports, analyzing sales data and market trends.
  • Maintain a high standard of service, adhering to organisational guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with the team to achieve shared goals.
  • Undertake any ad hoc duties as required by the Line Manager.

  • Good technical understanding of heavy-duty commercial vehicle parts.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in medium to heavy-duty commercial vehicle parts, specifically including Japanese, Volvo, and Scania.
  • Demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience with Electronic Parts Catalogues (EPC) is essential.
  • Excellent computer literacy skills.
  • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
  • Must be mentally and physically fit to perform the job functions effectively.
  • Valid Code 08 Driver's License and own reliable transport.
