About the position

Sales Executive: Fire & Gas Solutions - Johannesburg - Life Safety Industry | R25 000

 

The Opportunity

If you are already selling Fire Detection and Gas Suppression solutions and want your next step to pay off, this role is for you. You’ll earn a basic of R25 000 plus commission with OTE of R50 000+, based on the results you create. You will work with serious commercial and industrial clients, where the deals are bigger, and the demand stays strong. This is a growing division, so you will have space to build your pipeline, grow your income, and sharpen your technical sales skills.

Our client is a national integrated security and safety solutions provider helping businesses protect people, property, and operations through Fire Detection, Gas Suppression, monitoring, compliance support, and risk services. Their systems are built to help customers stay compliant, reduce risk, and respond faster when emergencies happen. The team works with professional standards, focuses on quality work, and builds long-term client partnerships across the commercial and industrial market.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Sell Fire Detection and Gas Suppression solutions into commercial and industrial sites

  • Visit client sites and complete site assessments

  • Recommend the right solution based on risk and compliance needs

  • Build and send quotes, proposals, and system options

  • Manage the full sales cycle from first call to signed deal to handover

  • Keep strong client relationships and support SLA expectations

 

Experience & Qualifications

  • SAQCC Fire Detection certification (must-have)

  • SAQCC Gas Suppression certification (must-have)

  • 4–5 years of Fire & Gas technical sales experience

  • Good technical knowledge of Fire Systems, Fire Detection Panels, and Suppression Technology

  • Understanding of Gas Suppression Agents, Fire Compliance, and Industrial Safety

  • PSIRA registered, computer literate, and a clear communicator

  • Own reliable car + valid driver’s licence
