Job Title: Technical Sales Executive (Civil Engineering & Construction)

Salary: Basic R25,000 (starting) + Car Allowance + Commission (OTE R50k - R80k p/m)

About Our Client:

TRP is recruiting for an established industry leader with 61 years of excellence in the South African market. Our client manufactures and supplies a vast range of critical products for major infrastructure and civil engineering projects. They are seeking a robust sales executive to join their Civils division.

The Role:

This role is focused on driving sales of the company's extensive range of precast concrete and civil infrastructure products (e.g., pipes, culverts, manholes, stormwater solutions). You will be responsible for securing specifications and driving large-volume sales with major project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and secure new projects within the civil engineering and infrastructure sectors.
• Develop and nurture key accounts with Consulting Engineers, Project Managers, and Governmental/Municipal clients.
• Read and interpret engineering plans to identify opportunities for product specification.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial tender/enquiry to final delivery.
• Liaise with corporate clients and property developers on their bulk infrastructure needs.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets.

Requirements:

• Proven sales track record, ideally in heavy construction materials, civils, or a related industrial sector.
• Essential Experience: A strong network and experience dealing with consulting engineers, project managers, and government tender processes.
• Ability to manage long sales cycles and complex, high-value contracts.
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Advantageous: A qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
