JOB PURPOSE:
The role of Sales Executive is to secure new revenue for EPX by effectively identifying new opportunities, sales planning, establishing a healthy pipeline and management thereof, successful implementation and meeting set targets.
QUALIFICATION- & MINIMUM REQUIRED JOB EXPERIENCE:
- Matric - Compulsory
- Logistics Qualification - Advantageous
- Sales Qualifications - Advantageous
- Previous industry experience - Advantageous
- 3 Plus years' experience within a new business sales role
- Proven track record of successfully meeting targets - Compulsory
COMPUTER LITERACY:
- MS Office

DAILY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategise, plan and execute on developing a lead list through cold calling and/or scheduled appointments.
- Conversion of leads into qualified prospects.
- Ability to identify customer needs and partner with the ability of EPX to meet those needs and the value proposition to the customer.
- Presenting compelling presentations to customers on the EPX solution.
- Ensure all sales related activities are updated daily within the EPX CRM System.
- Monitor conversion ratio and identify areas of improvement required within the sales cycle e.g. Lead generation, prospecting, identify needs, solution building and closing.
- Management, monitoring and understanding of actual performance against set targets. Sufficient qualified prospects in the pipeline to meet set monthly, quarterly and annual target. Ensure a good mix of opportunities, low, medium and high.
- Effective implementation of new accounts by ensuring customer is well inducting to the EPX service offering and that all internal departments are communicated with on the Customer Profile.
- Accurate forecasting of potential opportunities.
- Identify target industries/verticals that fit the service profile of EPX.
- Monitor customer bad debt and ensure issues that could potentially delay payment are communicated and resolved.
- Monitor customer claims history and consult with customer or internal departments on areas of improvement.
- Monitor and manager customer service KPI's to maintain the standard agreement with the customer.
- Problem areas to be identified and internal operations teams to be consulted to identify improvements.
- Escalate sensitive customers with internal departments to put mitigating processes in place and ensure resolution.
- Recording of lost opportunities and the reasons for not being successful.
- Ensuring understanding of competitors and what EPX value proposition is in comparison to competitors.
- Management and monitoring of forecasted spend versus actual spend to ensure full revenue materializes.
- Rates increase negotiation.
- Understand unprofitable accounts (if applicable) and put action plans in place to rectify.
- Inform Management team of new initiatives introduced in the market by competitors.
Interested candidates must be able to provide proof of monthly commission earned.
