Sales Engineer /Technical Sales

About the position

A Well-established company In Durban seeks a Sales Engineer /Technician to join their Team!
Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and service existing clients, including planning sales calls, submitting reports, preparing quotes, and delivering presentations.
• Expand client base through prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to branch profitability through market strategies.
• Maintain in-depth product knowledge and provide technical guidance to clients.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and provide feedback on processes or service improvements.

Requirements & Competencies:

• Mechanical or Technical qualification advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in technical or industrial sales.
• Knowledge of valves and instrumentation preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and customer-focused.
• Own reliable transport and willingness to travel.
